Our story
Every meaningful journey begins with a personal need. For Unfold, it began with mine.
Five years ago
As a parent of two daughters living away from India, I found it difficult to find someone who could stitch Indian outfits the way I envisioned them. I missed having someone who understood my preferences, appreciated the beauty of Indian clothing, and could bring my ideas to life.
How it began
What began as a personal struggle slowly grew into a dream: to create a space where people could express themselves through clothing that feels uniquely theirs. And that is how Unfold began.
More than stitching
Finding the right outfit is about so much more than measurements and stitching. Many people struggle to find clothes that fit comfortably, express their personality, and make them feel good about themselves. For some, especially those in plus-size bodies, the experience can be made even harder by judgment, assumptions, and a lack of understanding.
A different experience
I wanted to create a different experience: a space where your body size is never a limitation, your weight is never a reason for judgment, and your identity is always respected. A space where you are listened to, your preferences matter, and your vision comes first.
What we believe
Clothing should celebrate individuality, not impose expectations. Every body deserves a thoughtful fit. Every person deserves to feel confident in what they wear. And everyone deserves the freedom to discover and express their own style.
